I offer psychotherapy and counselling to adults, both men and women who bring a wide range of personal concerns and emotional difficulties – such as depression, loneliness, anxiety, bereavement, emerging adulthood, difficulties in parent-child relationships and stressful working life.
I work with clients from various ethnic, religious and social backgrounds and with diverse sexual identities.
I also have experience of working in the counselling department of a large London-based charity, which specialises in supporting women who have suffered from trauma and survived physical, emotional or sexual abuse in childhood or adulthood. I am also experienced in working with men who have survived abuse in relationships.

In addition,  I have worked in a counselling department of a London University and am therefore familiar with the diverse issues encountered by students, young or mature. I volunteered for MIND, the national mental health organisation, as a support worker in a drop-in setting assisting people suffering from enduring mental health issues.

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I worked mainly in the education sector, including working in primary and secondary schools throughout London and within the Education Welfare Service of a Local Education Authority. I am therefore familiar with the school system and the pressures, stresses and responsibilities that fall on all parties concerned; pupils, parents, teachers, non-teaching staffs, and any other professionals, such as social workers, who are involved in supporting families and schools.
